Make September 'STEPtember'

Most adults gain one to two pounds yearly but making simple changes can help prevent this unfortunate side effect of aging. Taking an additional 2000 steps each day, which is about a mile, is one way the America On the Move Foundation (AOM) suggests to win the battle of the bulge. This month AOM is celebrating the benefits of active living and healthy eating. This campaign suggests Americans make September “STEPtember” by increasing their average daily steps and decreasing their daily caloric intake by 100 calories.
